Ethics, Technology and Responsible Innovation in Healthcare
My work in medical ethics explores how emerging technologies and evolving healthcare systems shape clinical practice and research. I am particularly interested in the ethical challenges that arise when innovation intersects with patient care, scientific progress, and healthcare decision-making.
With a background in medicine, ethics, and translational research, I examine how new technologies, including artificial intelligence, advanced diagnostics, and emerging biomedical interventions, can be responsibly integrated into healthcare systems. This work aims to support innovation while maintaining the fundamental principles of medical ethics: integrity, patient welfare, and responsible scientific conduct.
Beyond technological developments, I am also interested in the organisational and leadership dimensions of healthcare. My training in healthcare management and interdisciplinary programmes has strengthened my understanding of how ethical decision-making, system design, and responsible leadership influence the quality and sustainability of medical care.
Through this interdisciplinary perspective, I aim to contribute to the development of healthcare systems that combine technological innovation with ethical responsibility and patient-centred practice.
